on the red track zed for years now. Basically a powdercoat with thermal transfer properties. Essentially the plenum does not retain heat as much as a stock or regularly coated one. 1) It dynoed great, kept cool even during 25 full pulls for cam tuning and a follow up 5 VP-109 runs in a hot dyno shop. Other Zeds were heat soaking and had to have frequent breaks with fans directed on the plenum (mine did as well, just not as much or as often) 2) Zero issues with heat at the track over 7 years of sessions. This was the reason I went with the coating in the first place. After a track session you couldn't touch the plenum for hours after with the stock plenum... you can put your hand on it now (briefly, its still hot) after a cool down period between sessions. Noticeable difference in heat retention.
